This message of Redemption, the preaching of the gospel; indeed the message of the cross is the overarching theme of the whole of the scripture. The bible contains the complete record of Gods revelation of himself to man.
It is also the full and final word of God to man, as recorded in the scriptures. (Psalm 107: 20 “he sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction. Then in John 1: 11 and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, as glory of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth.
Back up to john 1: 1-3 in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God; the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him and without him nothing was made that were made. (Unquote) God the father created the world (geneses 1: 1) through God the son (col 1: 16-17for by him all things were created that are in the heavens and that are in earth, visible and invisible whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things consist.
Hebrews 1: 2 reads “God who in various times and in ways spoke in times past by prophets, has these last days spoken to us by his son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, through whom he also made the world: who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.
Having become so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained more excellent name than they, for of which of the angels did he ever say “you are my son, today I have begotten you”? And again “I will be to him a father and he will be to me a son”.
Geneses 1:1 Starts with the moment of creation (John 1-1 starts with creation and completes eternity past. “The word was with God” declares a face to face relationship as well as equality with or of equal station with, or being on the same level, in other words in equal status with God the father.
This is a straight forward declaration of Christ’s deity, since John by the Holy Spirit, describes “The Word” as Jesus, and Jesus as being the word. Also revealing the truth of incarnation of God” the Son into humanity “verse 14 the word was made flesh’ the word was the very quality of God, “God the word, God the son, both are one and the same with God. While still retaining his personal distinctions from God the Father. Neither the person of Christ, nor his son ship come into being at a point in time. Rather, the father and the son have always been in a loving relationship (eternity past, eternity present, and eternity future”. With one another, (Philippians 2: 6 (speaking of Christ) states “who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, taking on himself the form of a servant, and coming in the likeness of man.
Unquote this declaring that God the son, being with God the father and God the Holy Spirit, in the nature in status in Glory In power in all eternal almighty Majesty, did by his own willing consent in agreement with the eternal Godhead council, stepped down from his throne, at the right hand of the Majesty on high; emptied himself of his eternal glory, and for a season laid aside the function of his own sovereignty and Godly power.
He stepped out of eternity into time, and became God the son incarnate humanity: indeed God the word became flesh, yet never ceased to be God: he identified himself as son of man, God identified him as son of God by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1: 3 he was born of the seed of David, according to the flesh, and declared to be the son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead. Unquote thus he is the God-man, son of God – son of Man, God incarnate humanity. Jesus Christ the son of God that is who he is, and was and forever shall be. And he came to give his life a ransomed for many and all who will come.
