Bow, oh my soul!- poem by Betty Fry

Bow oh my soul
In honor to the king,
Weep, weep with sorrow
For the wickedness of sin.

Lift your eyes and behold,
The glory of grace he gave,
The sacrifice and great love.
So even you may be saved.

Look beyond his earthly walk,
To his crown he laid aside,
He left his throne and majesty,
To serve us and walk on earth sod.

Hear the voice of Jesus,
Go and feed my sheep,
He the holy shepherd
Gave a command, don’t sleep.

Through birth of the Holy Spirit,
Our sins can be washed clean.
All our transgression forgotten,
We began our new life with him.

I will sing and praise eternal,
For the grace that saved my soul,
Set my heart to singing,
And my path to eternity’s home.
